We are about migrating content to WEBCON BPS. I would like to have at least the last modifying users migrated as well. How could i achieve this? Was thinking about setting a technical field to the last modifying user and then doing an SQL Update on the element after migration. Sure this is not the way that is officially supported. But is there another way?
I have a structure where a meeting (parent workflow) has many Agenda Points (Subworkflows). On each Agenda point, I have (inter alia) two fields that I would like to include in Meeting Minutes (an item list on Meeting), where each line item corresponds to one Agenda Point. Hi all! We are currently using the Google Maps field with address-based (dynamic) mode for registration of clients, which is in my opinion very user-friendly. The problem is, this mode shows the correct position on the map, but it doesn't store anything in the workflow item. We want to store Longitude and Latitude (e.g. in 2 extra fields of the process/workflow) along with Street, Zip and City (which is already happening). I hope you know, what I mean. I'm banging my head on the wall... I'm sure there is an easy solution but can't figure it out at the moment. I would like to prevent users entering duplicate values in a field when starting a new workflow and I don't want to use the Instance Number to achieve that. I have a process ABC with field WFD_AttText1. How do I prevent the user to enter a value that already exists in the field WFD_AttText1 of the process ABC? Thank you.
Hello, I hope you can help with this! I need to guarantee that a file in the attachments is checked-in (so the version will be different than 1) before moving the workflow to the next step. In the validation form, I don't have the attachments system so that I can construct a query to verify this. Does anyone have an idea? Thank you!
I am using Exchange events action to add a meeting request to the meeting participants. Everything works fine, but it is not possible to add parameters isOnlineMeeting, onlineMeeting, and onlineMeetingProvider. I tried to resolve this by updating the calendar entry via MS Graph API – Calendar/events. Hi all, i hope you are well. We have moved our PROD-Environments Databases to a different SQL Server last night. Except from some annoying trouble with Sharepoint and the Webcon solutions we managed to get everything running smoothly again. We uninstalled everything except from SOLR, and installed it again. I try to read/load in an xml-file in the Webcon application about the attachment section. Then I build myself a choice picker, where I can chose the selected file. After that I want to run an SDK action, where I get the data from my xml-file. In my code I implemented something but the file path is static at the moment and compares the file names. Wondering if it is possible to open the attachment preview dialog by using javascript only. Does anyone already tried to do this? There is the possibility to open the latest attachment, but that's not the solution i'm looking for.
By having a copy of a external file as attachment instead of only having a link to it, we can take advantage of the great preview functionality. How ever, having copies of a file increase the risk of having multiple versions and loosing track of the relevant document. I haven't found any documentation how to access the current form data. What I know is, that all the formdata is kept in a json property called liteDate.liteModel as a json-object as you can see when calling /api/nav/db/{dbId}/app/{appId}/element/{wfdid}/desktop I guess that this liteModel must be available via javascript. Hello, I'm trying to start a subworkflow from an item list. My item list will have the candidate for Positions and it will not be filled at the same time, each time there's a candidate for an offer, the user creates a row. Hi all! I am new to WebCon BPS. I wonder if it is possible to get all items of a process or a datasource/dictionary defined in BPS from client side via REST API. In SharePoint I did something like this: _api/web/lists/getbytitle('MyList')/items?select=Title...
